Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner will play a pivotal role in the healthcare team by providing comprehensive and advanced nursing care to patients. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with established practice standards. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with other Health Professionals and team members to ensure seamless coordination of patient care. Additionally, the role includes the administration of interventions, treatments, and therapies, monitoring patient responses, and actively participating in health education and promotion activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, considering their medical history, current health status, and any existing conditions.
  • Formulate and execute holistic care plans based on accepted nursing practices and standards.
  • Implement prescribed interventions, treatments, and therapies, including medication administration.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Work closely with other Health Professionals and members of the healthcare team to ensure integrated and cohesive patient care.
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment plans, and overall healthcare strategies.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
  • Engage in health education activities to promote wellness and prevent illness.
  • Actively participate in community outreach programs and health promotion initiatives.
  • Provide information to patients and families on treatment options, preventive measures, and overall healthcare management.
  • Address patient and family inquiries, providing clear and concise information regarding treatment plans and care procedures.
  • Foster open communication, ensuring that patients and their families are informed and involved in decision-making processes.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Enrolled Nurses and other healthcare workers.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to support professional development within the healthcare team.

Skill & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner program).
  • Current and valid nursing license.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Extensive clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
