Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Programmer Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Programmer Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing user needs, producing comprehensive requirements documentation, and contributing to the entire software development life cycle. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting program code in alignment with user requirements and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, consult, analyze, and evaluate system program needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of user requirements.
  • Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems, proposing effective solutions and improvements.
  • Test, debug, diagnose, and correct errors and faults in applications programming languages within established testing protocols and quality standards.
  • Write and maintain program code to meet system requirements, adhering to system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality-accredited standards.
  • Develop and update technical program documentation, end-user guides, and operational procedures to facilitate efficient system usage.
  • Provide expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities, including financial evaluations and costings for software purchases and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions with existing systems.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance software development processes.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and software development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality code and documentation.
