Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Computer Network and Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, development, deployment, testing, and optimization of network and system services. This position requires expertise in configuration management, operational readiness, and troubleshooting for complex network environments with multiple operating systems and configurations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, develop, and evaluate complex system design and architecture specifications, data models, and diagrams.
  • Research, recommend, and implement strategies for network architecture and development.
  • Manage, maintain, and configure network hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide user support.
  • Assess and recommend improvements to network operations, integrated hardware, software, communications, and operating systems.
  • Provide specialist skills in supporting and troubleshooting network problems and emergencies.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, and administer new and upgraded networks, software, database applications, servers, and workstations.
  • Develop and implement network programming to meet specific business needs and requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain procedures and documentation for network inventory, recording diagnosis, resolution of network faults, and modifications to networks.
  • Monitor network traffic, activity, capacity, and usage to ensure continued integrity and optimal performance.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant field.
  • At least five years of relevant experience and/or relevant vendor certification.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in network and system services, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience in planning, deploying, and optimizing networks in complex environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
